2010 Holiday Hours

We will be closed on November 25 for Thanksgiving,
and also December 24 and 25 for Christmas.
New Year's Eve we close at 3pm.
New Year's Day, open noon to 4 for our annual Fat Quarter Frenzy!

Miles of Smiles Pillowcase Sewing Day
September 17 was a great success!

Sewers came all day long to sew a pillowcase.
19 pillowcases were made in one day!

We have been collecting pillowcases all summer from our generous customers, so all together,
we were able to donate 87 pillowcases to ConKerr Cancer
and
15 pillowcases to Kids Under the Weather at Sarasota Memorial Hospital

These pillowcases also went on the counter for the American Patchwork & Quilting Million Pillowcase Challenge.

We will be collecting pillowcases through the end of December, just drop them off at Cotton Patch Quilt Shop anytime and we will make sure they go to a good cause

Stop by for a free pillowcase pattern, or use one of your own.

Our puppies are 4 1/2 months old, and about half the size they will become.

Saturday, August 28 we had 40 people come and sew a block
Blocks for 2 quilt tops were completed

It was a busy room of happy sewers

...some were young

Lily is 9 years old and did great!

...some were 4 legged
