Gnome for the Holidays

This is just the cutest table runner for the holidays and fun to make.
You can use Fat Quarters or a Layer Cake and 2 yards of background fabric.
See the pattern for the particulars for the fabric amounts.
Pick out some little red buttons for the noses and whatever additional embellishments you like to complete the gnomes.

The stars are easy to make.
I used foundation paper piecing to do them so the points were nice and crisp.
Let the shop know if you would like to make the stars using foundation paper piecing, so I can have it ready for you.
Otherwise I will assume you want to make the geese in the traditional manner. (Foundation paper piecing method is not part of the pattern for the flying geese star points.)

I definitely advise starching and pressing your fabric before class.
This pattern requires a Tri-Res Tool Ruler set.
They come in a packaged together.
They are used for cutting the hats and beards.
