Class Format
This class will be held live via Zoom through the Mighty Network, the same platform used for Season of Gifting and Happy Hollows.

Session 1: Friday, February 13th at 7:00 PM Eastern
Focus on fabric prep, quilting, cutting, and preparing all shoe components -
Session 2: Friday, February 27th at 7:00 PM Eastern
Construction and assembly of the sneakers
Students will also be invited to a live online follow up troubleshooting session on Friday, March 6th at 7:00 PM Eastern. This session will be recorded and posted for later viewing.
All class sessions will be recorded, and replays will be available for at least one year.

Skill Level
Beginner friendly. No prior shoe making experience required.
Supplies

Provided by shop: written basic pattern and live instruction with Madison

Sneaker kit: complete sneaker kit (including soles, tools, and supplies) shipped by Cotton Patch Quilt Shop

Students should bring: 3–4 coordinating fat quarters of their choice and basic sewing supplies
A full supply list will be emailed prior to class. All additional supplies will be available for purchase through the shop or online store.
Shipping Information
Sneaker kits will be shipped separately and are not included in the class fee. Registration will close 2.5 weeks prior to the first session to ensure kits arrive in time.
Machine Notes
No special sewing machine is required. A zipper foot is recommended but not required.
End Result
By the end of session two, students should expect to finish or be very close to finishing a pair of custom quilted sneakers.

| Instructor Bio: | Meet Madison Madison is energetic, thoughtful, and extremely kind, and her love for quilting shines through in everything she does. She began quilting in 2020 during the pandemic, and her quilting journey is one she loves to share. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into a passion and a deep connection to the quilting community. Madison is a true do-it-all maker who especially loves bags and bold, fun quilting projects. She is well known for her By Annie bag making skills, but what students remember most is her infectiously happy personality and the care she brings to every class. A proud cat lover, Swiftie, and serious notion fan, her favorite tools include Wonder Clips, Sewline Air Erase pens, a zipper jig, and her trusty Sewline Glue Pen. Madison’s connection to Cotton Patch Quilt Shop began as a customer and grew into a lasting relationship. Whether teaching in person or online, she brings encouragement, patience, and joy to every classroom, reminding students that perfection is not the goal, progress is. |
